HKBA Meeting
The July Heart of Kentucky Baptist Association Executive Board Meeting will be held Monday, July 14th at the HKBA Office beginning at 6:00PM.
Senior Luncheon
Our Senior Luncheon will be held Wednesday, July 16th at 11:30AM in the fellowship hall followed by a Senior Council Meeting. It is Potluck style. The chicken strips, rolls, and drinks will be provided. Please bring a side or dessert. Join us for a great time of food and fellowship!

Senior Trip
The Seniors will be going to Pioneer Playhouse Thursday, July 17th to see the show, “Walking Across Egypt.” The bus will leave at 5:30PM, go to Cheddar’s for dinner, then on to the show at 8:30PM.
Deacon’s Meeting
A Deacon’s Meeting will be held Sunday, July 20th at 5:00PM.
WMU - Christ Followers
The next meeting will be Monday, July 28th at church beginning at 12:00PM (noon) in the fellowship hall. Everyone is invited!
First Impressions Team
We are putting together a First Impressions Team (Welcome Team inclusive) that will consist of a greeter at each door, a worship center greeter, parking lot greeter, and first-time guest greeter. If you would be interested in helping with this important ministry once a month, please sign up in the RIC. We will meet in July to organize and schedule. We would love to have somebody help coordinate this ministry!
Children’s Church
Children’s church for kids PreK - 2nd grade during the sermon portion of morning worship will begin in August! Sign up today for a Sunday in August or September in the RIC to help with this much needed ministry! Lessons will be provided for you! Ask Kristen or Mary if you have any questions.
Community Mission Day
Our Community Mission Day will be Saturday, August 16th, 10-noon. Make plans to meet our neighbors and invite them to church. We are still collecting clothes and the following school supplies: Crayola crayons, colored pencils, large and skinny dry erase markers, construction paper, yellow highlighters, Clorox wipes, #2 pencils, hand sanitizer with pump, tissues, composition notebooks, gallon zip lock bags, glue sticks, paper towels, and folders. Any leftovers will go to Highland and Waynesburg Elementary and clothes to Ft. Logan Coop. Ministries. Items can be dropped off in the RIC.
The Mission Team
2026 Mission Trips
The Mission Team requests prayers for the schedule that is being worked on. We are planning a stateside mission trip next summer and a Puerto Rico trip next year during fall break. Mission trips take advance planning so pray now if God wants you to go. More to come!
